Yes, you could always put it off in another day saying that 'the Philippines would not run away' anyway or that 'there will always be promos you can buy another day' but here are always things happening around us that could affect them.
One place I planned to visit is Bohol but since it's quite close, I've placed it far from my prioritized places and now the old churches are gone, even the chocolate hills have somehow been affected by the earthquake and though we can't control nature, there's always the 'you could be too old to climb mountains or go up some steps' and the greatest views are almost always from the top so before climbing becomes a health risk, do yourself a favor and go out and explore the world.
